I consider myself a multi-dimensional businesswoman and a “multi-preneur”. I have a rich and varied background in education, psychology, and community development.
As a seasoned speaker, I have spent many years developing my presentation skills, logging more than 2,500 hours of speaking and training delivery since 2006. I work hard to keep my skills fresh by continuing to do project work in the corporate world.
I believe that by doing so, I'm able to take the lessons I’ve learned and combine that knowledge with observations of how successful people work to provide a down-to-earth, practical presentation that not only makes sense, but makes sense to the listener.
In addition to doing project work for other companies, I also hold positions as CEO and COO to several of my own companies. I also serve on several civic and charitable boards. In 2015, I was honored as a “Great Woman of Texas” by the Fort Worth Business Press.
As an author and while serving as radio show host for one of her companies’ platforms, I haveinterviewed hundreds of successful business and professional men and women to gather information on personal and professional 'best practices'.
In my ‘spare’ time, I am an avid quilter and reading classic literature. One of my 'guilty pleasures'is singing classic jazz (think: 'At Last'). My husband, Larry, and I are members of the local sportsman club and enjoy shooting rifles and pistols. I have three adult children and ten grandchildren.
